Late last year we began a project with the wonderful Niderno family. We offer our clients an awesome program in which we fotograph their new baby several times during the first year of the baby's life, ending with a custom designed book
(by KryStyle Designs!)using images from each of the 6 sessions. We call this program "The Miracle of Life" (inspired by Maureen Hawkin's poem). The program starts with a maternity session, then a newborn session, followed by a session every 3 months. This is the Niderno's first 2 sessions. We'll be doing little Dylan's 3 month fotos soon- we can't wait to see how much he has grown!

We had Dawn come back in the evening to do some "painting with light" shots. If you've never heard of this technique, it's very experimental and fun to do! You have your subject get into a comfortable position, compose your shot (your camera has to be on a tri-pod because you'll have to experiment with long shutter times), turn off the lights, trip your shutter and "paint" away with a flash light! You never quite know how your shot is going to come out until you look at it afterwards- which is part of the fun ; )
Dawn was such a great model, and was very patient- and she hardly blinked!
About two weeks to the day after little Dylan came along, we had the Niderno family come in for their newborn session. What a cutie! Who can resist a brand-new, fresh, wrinkly baby?
Certainly not his big brother Patrick!!
